Dr. Sara Schroer
Dr. Schroer is passionate about creating a calm and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners with each visit.
“It’s no secret that most owners and pets both share a generalized dislike for going to the doctor. That is why my goal is to make the experience as pleasant as possible for both owners and pets alike through low-stress handling techniques, a personalized approach toward each patient, and of course loads of yummy peanut butter or cheese!”
Dr. Sara Schroer joined Animal Medical Center in May of 2024 as a full-time veterinarian. Dr. Schroer grew up in Troy, MO, and studied Biology at William Woods University. She then attended the University of Missouri- College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in Spring of 2021.
