Dr. Edwards is dedicated to being a pet’s advocate and having the animal’s best interest in mind.

“We’re pet owners too, so we understand the emotions and challenges. It’s my goal to practice the best medicine and look at it from the perspective of ‘What would I do if it was my own pet?’”

Dr. Lauren Edwards officially joined Animal Medical Center as a full-time veterinarian in May 2016, after completing her preceptorship with us (she was too awesome for us to let her get away). She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2012 and earned her doctorate from the College of Veterinary Medicine there in 2016.

Dr. Edwards is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Associations. She is dedicated to being your pet’s advocate and having the animal’s best interest in mind.

Dr. Edwards grew up in Elsberry and currently resides in Wentzville with her husband Steven, her adorable son Paxton, their two Australian Shepherds, Ruby & Roxy, and their cat, Koshka. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with family and friends and taking her pups to the dog park.
